Max Changmin, Awarded Rookie of the Year at Japanese Academy Awards ‘Splendid Achievement’
TVXQ Max Changmin was confirmed to be Rookie of the Year at the Japanese Academy Awards.
Max Changmin will be awarded the Rookie of the Year award for the 36th Japanese Academy Awards this coming 3/8 at the Shintakanawa International Hall.
Before, Max Changmin premiered through his Japanese movie “Fly with the Gold” last year on 11/3 acting as Momo, North Korean spy disguised as an exchange student. .
‘Fly with the Gold ’ is originally Takamura Kaoru’s best selling novel, a literary piece illustrating the 6 men in Osaka making an operation to steal bars of gold.
Max Changmin was on his Japanese Live tour ‘Tohoshinki LIVE TOUR 2012～TONE～’ at the time and filmed in his time off side by side with the tour, so the Japanese film officials decided to award him with the Rookie of the Year award..
Meanwhile, Max Changmin will win the award of Rookie of the Year award with Takei Emi, Nikaido Humi, Hashimoto Ai, Sometani Shouta, Higashite Masahiro at the 36th Japanese Academy Awards.

Max Changmin has been awarded Rookie of the Year at the Japanese Academy Awards.
On 1/22 Japanese Academy Awards Association decided to give the Rookie of the Year award to TVXQ’s Max Changmin for the movie he filmed last year “Fly with the Gold” at the 26th Japanese Academy Awards.
In Max Changmin’s first challenge in a movie, “Fly with the Gold” he acted as a North Korean government bomb specialist, Momo. Despite having speak Japanese he showed his fluency in the language even to the point of a dialect and was able to show the pain dwelling inside Momo and his inner psychology. Because he was able to express the emotion it was decided he will win the Rookie of the Year Award and he obtained praises of satisfaction.
Max Changmin officially began acting through his 2011 drama “Paradise Ranch” and “Athena: Goddess of War” and continued through “Fly with the Gold.” He showed his potential as a rookie actor rather than as a singer and in the future we’ll be looking forward to his acting activities.
In the first half f this year he began variety activiteis. On the 22nd through the first broadcast of KBS 2TV program “Moonlight Prince.” he will not have activities as a singer but show a new charm.
