TVXQ (DBSK) has notched another number one debut on Japan’s Oricon chart.
DBSK released its latest Japanese single album, Catch Me –If You Wanna- on January 16 and, as Oricon’s updated chart figures show, the single has debuted at number one on the Oricon daily singles chart.
The single album sold 84,666 copies on its first day, handily beating out No Sleeves’ Kirigiri Jin which came in second on the same chart and sold 27,138 copies on its first day.
The latest single from DBSK is the Japanese version of its recent Korean album title song, Catch Me. The single album also contains the track I Know.
Come this April, DBSK will be the first Korean musician to embark on a five-dome tour in Japan as they perform through the Tokyo Dome, the Osaka Kyocera Dome, the Fukuoka Yahoo Japan Dome, the Sapporo Dome and the Nagoya Dome.
The five dome tour will make DBSK only the fourth foreign artist in Japan to have done a five dome tour after Bon Jovi, the Eagles and Billy Joel.
